Welcome to YANA
YANA ("You Are Not Alone") is a nonprofit peer-support community connecting moms with one another. By using this platform, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Who can use YANA
YANA is designed for mothers and those who support them. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By signing up, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date.
Becoming a Support Mom
Support Moms are volunteer peer supporters, not licensed professionals. By activating a Support Mom profile, you agree to:
- Respond to connection requests in a timely and respectful manner
- Not provide medical, legal, or professional advice
- Refer moms to appropriate professional resources when needed
- Maintain confidentiality and respect boundaries
- Not solicit money, products, or services from those you support
Community expectations
YANA is a safe space. We do not tolerate:
- Harassment, bullying, discrimination, or hate speech of any kind
- Sharing another person's private information without consent
- Solicitation, spam, or commercial promotion
- Misrepresentation of identity, credentials, or experiences
- Behavior that makes another user feel unsafe or uncomfortable
Violations may result in account suspension or permanent removal at YANA's discretion.
Not medical or professional advice
YANA is a peer-support community, not a healthcare or professional service provider. Support Moms and group facilitators share lived experience, not licensed expertise. Always consult qualified professionals for medical, legal, mental health, or other specialized advice.

Account termination
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, create safety concerns, or engage in fraudulent behavior.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform grows. We'll post the updated version here with a new effective date. Continued use of YANA after changes means you accept the updated terms.
